Remedy for ulcer or pain in the vagina after delivery
Salve
Take equal parts of calabash leaves and symplocos bark and mash the both, then apply it on the vagina. So that the ulcer and the pain disappear immediately.
Salve (2)
Mash the palas tree fruit and cluster fig fruit in sesame oil and prepare ointment. applying this ointment into the vagina so strengthens the vagina. (Returns to its original state)
Powder (Churna)
If the stomach of the pregnant woman is enlarged, in the morning after 21 days after delivery, mix the powder of Pipramol in the curd mixture and drink it so that her stomach will be the same as before.
Treatment for placenta left in the abdomen after delivery
Failure to fall out placenta after childbirth can lead to shooting pain, windiness in the stomach, indigestion. Therefore, deliver as carefully as possible and carefully remove the placenta. However, if there is any parts of placenta left in the stomach, it should be treated and removed.

Take the snake’s corset, bitter calabash and bitter ridge gourd in equal parts, grind it and soak it in mustard oil, burn this powder and give its smoke around the vagina. So that the placenta falls out.

Makkal disease (tumor)
The vata grow up with dryness in the pregnant woman. This increased (vata) gas dries the blood with heat and sharpness, and creating a tumor.
These tumors can occur in the underside of the umbilicus, in the groin, in the bladder, and in the abdomen. It causes severe pain in the bladder and abdomen. The stomach swells and urination stops. It is called “Makkal” disease.
Treatment
Finely grind the pearl ash and drink it with tolerable hot water or with hot ghee.
Pipladi kwath (decoction)
Pepper, Pipramol, black pepper, long pepper, Ginger (dry), Chitra (Plumbago zeylanica root), Chavak (pepper climber), Mehdi seeds (Lawsonia inermis)/(or Nagod seeds {Indian privet}), Cardamom, Ajmo (carom seed), Mustard, Hing (Asafoetida), Bharangi (Clerodendrum Serratum), Kalipad (cyclea peltata), Indrajav (Holarrhena pubescens), Cumin, Bakayan (melia azedarach), Nani Piludi (Salvadora persico), Ativish (Indian atees), Kadu (Black heliebore)and Wavding (Embelia ribes) Take all this herbs evenly and make a decoction of it and add sindhalun (rock salt) in it. and then drink to the patient.
This decoction destroys abdominal colic, shooting pain, fever, Makkal (tumor), and mukkel pain, as well as flatulence and phlegm. As well as its consumption, its digests undigested food and ignites the fire (Digestive function is improved).
Trikatu, chaturjaat, and Coriander. take this herbal in Equally and make powder. Mixing this powder in the old jaggery and giving it to patients regularly so destroys the “Makkal” disease.
(Trikatu = dry ginger, Black Pepper, Long Pepper, – chaturjaat = Cinnamon, Indian bay leaf, Ceylon ironwood, cardamom)
All postpartum women should stay away from sex, anger, cold winds.

Diseases of a postpartum woman
Diseases such as fever, cough, body aches, thirst, heaviness, swelling, colic, and diarrhea are included in the group of these diseases.
As most of the above diseases occur in pregnant women, it is called an obstetric disease or diseases of a postpartum woman.
Fever, chills, swelling, colic, windiness in the stomach, weakness, sleepiness, loss of appetite, and nausea. All diseases are called diseases of a postpartum woman as it is caused by the destruction of flesh and energy during delivery.
Treatment
Taking anti-flatulence (anti Vataj) herbs cures diseases of a postpartum woman.
Adding ghee into the dashmool kwath (decoction) and consume it, When it is lukewarm, so cures these diseases.
Darvyadi kwath (decoction)
Cedar, Vaj (calamus), Uplet (costus), Pepper, Ginger (dry), Kariyatu (Indian echinacea), Kayaphal (aromatic fruit of myristica), Kadu (Hellebore), Dhana (coriander), Harade (Terminalia Chebula), Gajpipar (long pepper), Bhoringani (prickly brinjal), Gokharu (Tribulus terrestris), Dhamaso (Fagonia indica), Moti ringani (Solanum indicum), Ativish (Indian atees), Giloy (Tinospora cordifolia), Kakadashingi (Galls), and Kalijiri (black cumin). Take all these herbs and prepare a decoction (kawth).
When one-eighth of the water is left, add rock salt and asafoetida to it and give it to the postpartum woman.
Consumption of this decoction kills these diseases like colic, cough, fever, shortness of breath, fainting, tremors, headache, senseless talk, thirst, inflammation, sleepiness, diarrhea, and vomiting.
This decoction is for diseases of a postpartum woman that creat by (kaffa) cough and (vata) flatulence. This decoction is called Darvyadi (kwath) decoction.
panchjirak cooking (paak)
Take 4-4 tolas of cumin, black cumin, dill-seed, anise, carom seed, lovage, coriander, fenugreek, dry ginger, pepper, Pipramol, plumbago zeylanica, hedychium spicatum, kernel of Indian jujube, costus, and mallotus philippensis. Make powder all these herbs.
Take 128 tolas of milk, 16 tolas of ghee, and 400 tolas of jaggery and cooked with all the above herbs as per the rules of cooking. This is called “Panchjirak paak” (cooking).
Consumption of this paak cures all gynecological diseases, vaginal diseases, fever, tuberculosis, cough, shortness of breath, jaundice, atrophy, and all diseases attached with Vata.
Saubhagya sunthipaak (cooking that cooked with dry ginger)
Grind 32 tolas of dry ginger and fry in ghee.
Put this powder in 128 tola cow’s milk and make a paste.
Add 8 tola cow ghee to this paste and mix well.
Add 200 tola sugar syrup and mix well.
Take 12 tolas of coriander, 20 tolas of anise, 4 – 4 tolas of Embelia ribes, cumin, dry ginger, black pepper, pepper, sweet cyperus, bay leaf, ceylon ironwood, cinnamon, and small cardamom. prepare fine powder all of these herbs and add them to the sugar syrup then shake well. when all herbs are mixed well then fill it into a clean utensil. This prepared recipe is called “Saubhagya sunthipaak”.
Consumption of this paak destroys obstetric diseases, thirst, vomiting, fever, inflammation, intense thirst, shortness of breath, cough, spleen, and worm diseases. Consumption of this paak increase digestive power.
postpartum woman’s diet
A postpartum woman who has lost blood should be given a lubricating, mild, digestible, and less meal for a month.
warming regularly and rub oil
A woman is considered to be in the postpartum period for one and a half months. Follow all diets till there. Do not follow the diet until 4 months after delivery if there is no discomfort.

The obstetric fever
Fever is one of the most common diseases in postpartum women. This fever is called “postpartum fever” or “The obstetric fever” as it is seen in postpartum women.
Symptoms of postpartum woman’s fever
Women who have pain in the whole body (body ache), when the body is hot, vibrant, feel heaviness and thirst, swelling and diarrhea, know is that fever’s cause (suvarog) Obstetric disease.
Remedy
Kwath (decoction)
carom seed, cumin, bamboo silica, catechu, pterocarpus marsupium, fennel, coriander, and resin of red silk, take evenly all of these herbs and crushed it.
Then make kwath (decoction) it with this powder and by drinking this decoction for 10 days, Sutikajvar (postpartum woman’s fever) disappears.
Kwath (decoction) 2
Red Alyce clover, Alysicarpus monilifer, Solanum nigrum, prickly brinjal, land caltrops, Aegle marmelos, headache tree, Justicia adhatoda, Gmelina arborea Roxb, and butter tree. Take all of these herbs in equal parts and crushed them. Make with it decoction.
This decoction is taken regularly by adding ghee for 10 days while it is still lukewarm. So it cures postpartum woman’s fever.
Breast diseases
Breast disease occurs in pregnant women or Puerperal women. This is because the arteries and veins in the breasts are exposed during pregnancy.
The disease is caused by five types of Kapha, pitta, Vata, tridosha, and newcomer. Blood disorders etc. do not cause this disease and also virgins do not get this disease.
After a dosha is produced in a woman’s breast, The defect produced in the breast contaminates the flesh and blood. This contaminated flesh and blood cause tumors or suppurate in the breast. It is called breast disease.
Treatment
In the treatment of breast disease, use (pitta) bile-killing herbs but do not give warming to the breast.
It is advisable to surgically remove the lump, tumor, and disorders, when have festered.
Salve
Rubbing the root of Colocynth with water and applying its paste cures breast disease.
Salve 2
Take turmeric and jimson weed leaves and make a paste and apply it on the breast to cure breast disease.
Heat the iron too much and Let it cool in cold water. Drinking this water to the breast patient cures the disease.
Salve 3
Rubbing the root of barren Momordica dioica with water, and applying it to the breast relieves the pain of breast disease.
