About breastfeeding
The sweet juice of the food that a woman eats during pregnancy spreads throughout the body in essence. After delivery, this essence comes from the whole body into the woman’s breast. This essence becomes as a breastfeeding. After delivery, the arteries of the heart become open and secrete milk.
The woman who became a mother after giving birth to a child gives immense affection to the child. This affection is the cause of the flow of the mother’s milk. When the infant touches the mother’s breast, the mother is overwhelmed by her touch, vision, and remembrance, and the milk is released from her breast.
Lack of love for the baby, fear, grief, anger, being very hungry and having a second fetus make a woman’s breastfeeding much less.
Remedies to increase breastfeeding
Sometimes breastfeeding has been reduced despite the need. Then measures should be taken to increase breastfeeding.
To increase breastfeeding, a woman should consume excellent food made from brown rice, paddy rice, and wheat.
To increase breastfeeding by feeding women consume meat-meat juice, fish, etc. (For women who are acceptable)
Using Calabash, Coconut-dry, coconut, Water chestnut, asparagus, Pueraria tuberosa, and garlic and being happy increases a woman’s breastfeeding.
Taking paddy rice and levigate with a bowl of milk and then drinking its milk, so makes a woman breastfeed a lot.
To increase breastfeeding, a woman should drink Pueraria tuberosa’s juice or make Pueraria tuberosa’s powder and consume it with cow’s milk.
Causes of Breastfeeding Deterioration
Too spicy, too sour foods, too salty and heavy foods as well as improper behavior can cause defects in the mother’s body, which can lead to poor breastfeeding.
By improper diet behavior, Vata, pitta, and, Kapha in the body distort the dosha and spoil the breastfeeding. Consumption of this milk impairs the health of the baby and causes diseases in his body.
Breastfeeding that is spoiled by Vata is astringent in taste and floats on water when dropped in water.
Breastfeeding that is spoiled by Pitta is sour and spicy in taste. The yellow particles of this milk are made in water.
Breastfeeding that is spoiled by Kapha is submerged in water and is viscous.
If there is any dosha in breastfeeding due to any two dosha, then the symptoms of those two doshas are seen and in the breastfeeding which is worse due to all three dosha, the symptoms of all the three dosha are seen.
Remedy to improve spoiled breastfeeding
Mothers should drink green gram’s water to improve spoiled breastfeeding.
Clerodendrum Serratum, cedar, calamus, and Indian atees are all herbs taken in equal proportions and mashed with water then drinking this water clears the spoiled milk.
Kwath (decoction)
Breastfeeding is purified by kwath (decoction) of made to equal parts of cyclea peltata, Solanum nigrum, Sweet Cyperus, green chirayta, Cedar, Dry Ginger, Indrajau, Indian sarsaparilla, and Black heliebore.

The mother’s milk is purified by making and drinking a decoction of Trichosanthes dioica, neem, Camel foot tree, cedar, cyclea peltata, Solanum nigrum, heart-leaved moonseed, Black heliebore, and dry ginger in equal proportions.
Breastfeeding which is uniform in the water, does not change the color of the milk, does not bind the threads falling in the water, and is white in color, thin and cold. So know that breastfeeding is pure.
About keeping wet nurse
When for some reason the mother is obligated to keep a wet nurse, keep in mind the merit and demerit of the wet nurse for breastfeeding the child.
The mother should choose a woman for wet nurse of her own age (considering her, caste, age, etc.) as a good-natured, happy, cheerful, very loving, and very caring to a child.
It is desirable that the woman who is to be breastfed should be filial, have more to breastfed, submissive to mother, satisfied even if she gets little.
It is very desirable that the wet nurse is to have a good family, a noble, not to cheat, to have the same value as her son over the baby, and to have excellent ideas.
Undesirable wet nurse
A woman who is suffering from grief, restlessness, suffering from hunger, tired from hard work, suffering from disease, etc. symptom is undesirable as a wet nurse.
A woman who is too tall or too dwarfish, too thick or too thin, pregnant, has a fever, and has long and tall breasts should not be kept as a wet nurse.
A woman who does not stay on the proper diet, even eating if she is indigestible, is addicted to petty work, and suffers from sorrow, should not be given the responsibility of a wet nurse. Because breastfeeding to wet nurse the child happens sick.
What to do when you don’t get a wet nurse
In the nature of a newborn baby, it comes like milk. Therefore, in case the mothers do not have milk and do not get wet nurse too, cow’s milk or goat’s milk should be consumed judiciously (as child’s capacity).
Feeding the baby
In the sixth or eighth month, feed the baby with a scriptural ritual and gradually increase it.
Child rearing
Take the baby with happiness and put it into your lap so that it does not become a hindrance. Never disregard a child.
Do not wake the baby while he is asleep and does not sit him until he is fit to sit.

Things that beneficial the baby
